This weekend I screened these films all in the comfort of home:
Another reason to love the internet
Much better than getting the bootleg on thr street for $5 and better quality too.

Babel
Good movie, think of “Crash” but more international and sparse the way everyone is related somehow. This will get a a Best Picture nod for sure. A few loose ends though:
What was in the note he read at the end?) and, standing naked on the balcony takes her Dad’s hand and embraces him?
Why did her Mom commit suicide? Did she know or suspect incest? Did she shoot herself after Dad and Chieko went on the hunting trip; or during?
Is that why he gave his gun away?
Or maybe the fact that its still making me ask these questions days after I saw it, make it an even better film?
Running with Scissors
Written and Directed by Ryan Murphy, creator of Nip/Tuck. (what more can i say)
If you think you had a rough childhood and a dysfuntional family, watch this film and be happy it didnt happen to YOU.
Expect nominations for Best Picture and Annette Bening for Best Actress.

Casino Royale
No Oscar nominations but one of the best James Bond movies ever made.
Casino Royale gives the audience a glimpse at the man behind the martini.
He hates, loves, and hurts because he is human.
James Bond is not a machine without emotion, he does what he must to get the job done, but that does not mean he enjoys it.
